Received my REN muslin cloths and freebies today, thanks to the OP of that offer. I have never used REN before so this is a perfect way to try it!
Umming and aaahing about SheSaid, never tried it before. For 50% off, is it worth a go do you think? I am a GlossyBox girl only, not ventured anywhere else. Yet...

I just got this code emailed to me - EMERALDSTR for 10% off a first Glossybox

My REN parcel just came :) I'm looking forward to using it all. The cleansing gel was open at the top but for what I paid I'm not going to moan about that, I'll use it up.

gentleorange, my facewash was open at the top too, but will use, as it seems fine. Just one of those things. It was a fantastic offer, so will not rock the boat. My skin has never been so well cared for since joining this thread. :D

elisebutt65, a timely reminder to activate my pininterest account, as was unable to see your Joliebox review. Apparently I should have had a parcel today according to my regular postman, but couldn't see it on his bike, so hoping will come tomorrow with the van.

I'll give the swaps lass a few more days. I'm not bothered if she hasn't posted it yet, I just want her to tell me!

Have you tried putting a post rather than pming? Even if you create a post tag them just to tell them you've sent a pm and have they had it?
The first pms to people you aren't friends with go in a mystery 'other' folder that isn't visible unless you look for it and doesn't send notifications even if (like me) you have absolutely everything switched on to email you a notification. One of FBs less intelligent setups!
Also when I first joined there was a debacle about someone and the moderators asked to be told if people swaplifted as they would send them packing and add them to a document they have about who not to swap with. The lady who had been a bad lass was named and shamed and loads of people contacted her and I think some eventually started to get things she had promised. So if you still don't hear anything within a week or so I'd contact the moderators and start causing a stink.

Got my Joliebox today as well, which was a surprise.
    In my box:
Etat Pur salicylic acid treatment 15ml (full size)
    Jane Iredale self-tanner
    Nailgirls gold and bronze mini-polishes
    JB toe separaters
    Wen cleansing conditioner 60ml
Surprise item - RMK primer. 15ml (half size) Glad I got this, as I really liked it.

  • Well I sent a friendly message to the lady in question with a subtle mention of the proof of postage that I got and suddenly the person has found the parcel I sent them! Now they say they will send mine tomorrow - so I assume that they were waiting on receiving mine before posting. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt about accidentally misplacing my parcel because I am a bit narky right now so may have been unnecessarily suspicious.

I ended up ordering more muslin cloths so that I could get more samples and another goody box of stuff. I tried the jojoba beads exfoliator tonight and I wasn't convinced at first because I do like my exfoliation to be really rough and scratchy - but I must admit my skin is very soft afterwards. I also used the mayblossom cleansing gel which seems lovely - but I'll save that now for when I have a spotty/oily hormonal phase.

The omega 3 serum doesn't smell so nice but feels good so far and the frankincense night cream is lovely - we'll see in the morning how these two work overnight.

I already know that I love the invisible pores detox mask (from previous samples) but I'm worried about whether the glycolactic one might be a bit harsh so I've decided to try that at the weekend.

Yummy yummy lovely products. I also happened to stumble across a lone Glamour in Tesco earlier and bought that too because it was one with a face wash and I REALLY love that.

Oh and I got an email from Barrister Salvatore Gallano telling me that if I pretend to be his deceased client's next of kin, I can have a share of €8.5 million. All I need to do is send him my passport and bank account details. Aren't I lucky??? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hate to say it but both my REN and JB came by Yodel. Think it was lucky I was in as they usually lose my parcels.

I bought the She Said 6 month sub when it was on the Jubilee 60% offer but I also went through Topcashback and, to my astonishment, it has already been confirmed! So if you do go for the deal, I suggest you get your cashback as well because it is currently at £6.56 (not checked Quidco etc) so saves you even more. If you only want one box to try, there is a 25% off code on the first page of the thread.

Personally, to me SSB seems better than GB but then I've only had one Glossybox and it was the spectacularly underwhelming birthday box. Plus, the SSB boxes have a posh magnetic closing action - even hubby is pinching them to keep things in! :rotfl:

elisebutt65 - I know exactly what you mean! I have had so many problems with yodel in the past that I couldn't believe it when my REN turned up today. Although the man did ask me to sign the wrong thing and I'm not sure he knew quite where he was, he seemed slightly odd

It was a plain white van that delivered my first REN package. I don't think I've had experience of them before, as was not a van I recognised.

I've only just received dispatch mails for both my orders (including what was delivered, so count myself very fortunate,as I was a little cheeky. I'm loving their products now loads, so can see myself ordering in future. Their hair-care sounds divine.

Now am wondering what RM had for me?:D
