Morning all, well a few bits on ebay look like they might sell, nothing too expensive though so no big money to be had today.0
-
I'm in a grump. I've transfered the MF OP pot of money into the current account to pay the rest of this months bills. If hubby's work hadn't messed up i would have been able to make the OP but now i can't:(
Guess i'll just have to start again when i can:( And no-one who bought any of my items has left feedback:( and it's raining:(0 -
Oh dear
Hope all looks better soon
We all need better weather, that would help0 -
It's ok, we managed the usual £100, but what's annoyed me is that because hubby was underpayed by about £150 this month i have had to use all the extra money i've been gathering from TCB, Ebay and other things to then pay bills which isn't fair:(0

Cheer up Ecoelle - it's not all bad. Like you say, at least you had that pot to fall back on, so well done you on gathering it together in the first place - it just goes to show what you can achieve - you've already knocked several months off your mortgage life. Every single penny counts, pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start all over again - you know you can do it0

Hi ecoelle, just popping over from the debt free board as mortgage free is going to be my next challenge. Really enjoyed reading about your efforts so far, you're doing so well. Don't feel too hard done by about this month, you'll catch up next month.
Daily interest, wow that's a motivator! Must go work out mine (gulp!)Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Yeah, feeling better today. Car in for it's MOT and service so glad i've been popping a bit to one side every month, just hope i've got enough to cover it:) I tend to feel like i've failed if i have amonth where all i do is the regular £100, but actually, on our wages we do well to do £100 every month, and if we do nothing extra we would still know our mortgage down from 24 years to 18. But 18 years is too long for me:) I like to think we would have it gone by the time little one starts secondary school, so the target is September 2023, which means finding an average of about £350 extra a month for the next 11 years, hoping interest rates never go up...hmm. I'm wondering if when we get to the end of the variable rate deal we got whether we might be better on a fixed one, got another year on variable then will have to look at what interest rates are doing. Thanks to Curlygirl and Barbeduk, i'll try and check out your respective diaries when i get chance. Great to hear you want to start a MF journey though B.0

Well total of £175 on the car, but that's on;y once a year so not too bad. Doing a car boot tomorrow so hoping to make about £30, and i've got 3 people watching a couple of items on ebay:)0
-
Yay, i managed exactly £30 today at the car boot:) Little one has a cold though so off for lots of mummy cuddles now.0
-
Well done on the car boot - I always see ebay/ boot sales etc as a win-win situation - you get rid of[STRIKE]rubbish [/STRIKE] unwanted treasures and get paid for doing so!
:D
