Well, £4.10 was the 'odd' amount once hubby had been paid, so i've moved it to the OP pot making a total of £11.83 now:) Ebay listings finish tonight so hoping for over a tenner to add on too. CD's aren't showing as having arrived at a MM yet but that's fine. Also still waiting for petplan to show my insurance claim. Although i think that will be going to the CC rather than the OP pot.

Also had my letter through today to say i'd been accepted for the Halifax rewards account so that means there'll be a steady £5 bonus every month. Going to have to wait a little bit before transferring the money though as i want to do it all online and need to wait for the details to come. Now i know i got accepted i think i'm going to get hubby to apply for one too:)

Just realised that if we made no more OP's we would be MF in exactly 23 years, on our original mortgage it would be 23 years and 8months, so we've saved 8 months already! 23 years would mean i would be 54, don't want a mortgage til i'm 54...motivation to keep going:)

Ebay sales up to £33.88:) one of my bigger items sold at the last minute, only for the starting bid, but that was fine. I'll update tomorrow when the other listings have finished.

    Last listing failed to sell so a total of 33.88 +11.83 = 45.71 + 18 owed from work for petrol = 64.71:)

Checked paypal and still waiting for one person to pay, but been and posted the 3 that have been paid for today. Once postage and fees are taken off i come out with ...£28.86

    OP Pot October
    1.10 £11.83
    1.10 £28.86 ebay money
    Total £40.69

Applied for a joint halifax rewards account and hubby applied for one last night so that's hopefully another £15 a month as of next month. Hope that it really is ok to use them for this, the man on the phone asked me what we wanted the accounts for and i just said to split up money for bills and things, made it clear money would be frequently going in and out of the account and not staying in the account long.

ok, going to get my manager to authorise my travel expenses on Wednesday so will be able to add another £18 to the pot. This will take us over the target i set which is great:)

Makes me see how most moths it is just the £100 OP and no more. Really got to focus on making extra money and sticking to the figures i've posted above. I get paid on Thursday and am going to try to make a fresh start on the envelope budget then. I have to get the envelopes ready but it should make it easier to organise the money every 4 weeks. I really wish that i got paid monthly, it would make things a lot easier.
