Error caused by graphics device driver (according to MS online crash analysis). Hmmm...don't know what to do about that!
EDIT: now it won't boot up at all. I have to physically disconnect the power lead to try to boot up, as pressing the button does nothing, When the button is pressed, it gets past the bios screen, then crashes again. On the phone to the helpline as u type - 8 minute queue!!In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

scrooge_mcduck wrote:has anyone found the battery runs down too quickly? If I fully charge it, it says I have 3-4 hours of battery life, but it usually runs out in about half that time (I've been playing FM 2005 on it, so I don't know if that has an effect)
My son is only getting 50 minutes out of a full charge playing FM 2005!!! (before 10% battery life warning kicks in)
I tried charging... opening nothing... And watching the battery "time left", and even at 99% with nothing open it's sub 2 hours. The MSE Dictionary

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...having to reset the damn thing back to its factory settings and go through step by step to see what's causing the problem. The bloke from the helpline says there is an updated driver available for the graphics card.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Ok, that's it. Had enough now. Going to put a fresh install of Windows XP on the damn thing, as it won't even reboot out of the factory restore. It's just hanging there. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
