This guy is using shill bidding to bump up his prices. He was using an alias of LINDA4618 in the first auction. Have to keep an eye on the 2nd auction alsoWatch out, you never know who is about.0 -

if you look at his past auctions as per post above you can spot when a certain names keep appearing, i find it hard to belive that the same buyer can find the same seller on several occasions for different items, if you catch my drift. very very suspiciousWatch out, you never know who is about.0 -

Your claim that ... He was using an alias of LINDA4618 in the first auction is strange ... Given that LINDA4618 did not even bid on the auction??
I think you will find that there was a bid that was retracted of £200.
The bid was retracted after i emailed him asking if this was his alias.
He replied "yes" hence the retraction of the bid,
im not in the habit of lying and only make these statements when i know them to be true.

This seller should not be trusted.
sorry tojo just seen your edit. No hard feelingsWatch out, you never know who is about.0 -
yep.... Spot on m'lord.
My apologies, I just couldn't see the bid retraction.
Having looked just a little closer.... it's there for all to see.

Traidemark did well - he made £190 on his laptop! Someone used BIN to grab it.
I'm keeping mine, though (as soon as I get it replaced tomorrow, that is!) My dell's the one likely to end up on ebay.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

How can I get rid of one of them? Will I need to reformat?GibsonSt19 wrote:I did actually delete both partitions, and then installed Win XP Home onto the only partition available, how strange
Sorry for the delay in replying, busy day!!
I think youve sorted it out already but its actually very simple!
If after a clean install it comes up with 'Select your operating system' then follow this:
Load up Windows normally then,
All you do is click 'Start' the hit 'Run' type in 'msconfig' press ok then click on the Tab that says 'BOOT.INI' click on the button that says 'Check all boot paths' and it will say something like 'XP home is invaild boot path, click here to delete' and then click 'Apply' then restart the Laptop and all will be hunky! Only takes a few secs to do.
When the laptop restarts a box will pop up, click the box that says 'Dont show this again'
The reason for the dual operating titles is it finds the original reference to the PB install (only a reference not an actual file i.e You dont actually have two operating systems on the computer!!!) the above guide will delete the reference and give you the quick boot as expected.

MyUserNamesTaken wrote:How hard do you think it will be to install the antennae? Judging by the pics on that auction, you have to take the laptop apart! You obviously connect one end of each antenna to the pci card, but where do you put the other ends?
Anyone know the answer to this? I've ordered the ebuyer mini pci card, but have yet to bid on an antenna on ebay (which one is better? that seller has two different types).
Thanks in advance. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
