Good evening 11+ers. Hope you all had a good day.
Celebrate, my best car boot sale tip is:
When you get there find your pitch, then go for a walk around the stalls that are already set up. You will find that if you set up as soon as you arrive you will likely be mobbed as you try to unload your car. Some people even go with the intention of stealing from cars as the stall holders are setting up. If you have a little walk around first, the mob will have moved on to the newly arrived cars. HTHFool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -
How on earth did you do that :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl:
Its taken dedication, determination, focus, purposefulness, valour, willpower, drive, energy, plenty of wine and skipping a few pages here and there, but got there in the end.:D:D
No idea how I will keep up when I have to go back to work, have been off nearly 5 months now, don't know how I found time to hold down a full time job, run a business, be mum to 2 DS's (and all that involves) be a school governor in 2 schools and keep up on here. I know Locarr was talking about classic cars earlier, I think I could do with the DeLorean from Back to the future.
We had better form a queue as I would imagine we could all do with it to have more hours in a day :T:T:T:TIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

Alan i thought Sunderland had won .
Alan wasbut he didn't let it upset him
Oh dear what a traumatic afternoonwith Lala.It was time to change her dressing for the first time.Was a bit nervous about doing this so carefully took off all the bandages andstarted to take off the dressing and realised it was somehow connected to a great long stitch. Lala let out a great shout and this really frightened me as when I looked down I realised why.THe scar was wide open and bleeding and I was trying so hard not to panic:eek: Lala.Straight up to accident an emergency who could not believe that I hd been told to dress it.The internal stitches are fine but she has had to have it all redone on the outside:(what an angel of a nurse she really put my mind at rest an said do not attempt to do it again and go and see the nursing practitioner for it to be done.Bless her she was so traumatised that when we got her home she fell asleep for a couple of hours.
3Dogs Lala has told me about you both and you seem to be coping so well.It amazes me where we get our courage from at times like this.I was in the same situation with my DH and the Macmillan nurses were my saviour they not only gave so much care an comfort to my DH but also to me and the family.Make sure you take care of yourself and just take each day as it comes.x
Off to dish up Mr Lalas bbq, looking forward to this but will have to eat it indoors as so cold today. Lala is not very impressed at me having to cut up her dinner every day:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hiya Nannylala, you are doing a great job keeping us updated, you'd never guess you are a 'newbie' to computers never mind MSESorry to hear about your OH but, as you say, we do find the 'courage' if that is what it is, from somewhere to get us through
:eek: :eek: to Nikkilala's dressing/stitches :eek: :eek:Oooooh poor lala.....that sounds really nasty
Hope it's not going to prolong your recovery too much....
Hope she manages with the loo nannylala and you're not having to help with that too:D
Trust you to think of that Purdita...... you aren't having to do that are you Nannylala?
