Ok let's liven things up with a vote

As first poster on here about the Lindt bears how long should I leave it before posting on 1p thread?? ( this is sure to provoke a reaction)

Am off to watch an hour of NCIS but will try and check back before bed!

I posted about the 100g lindt bears immediately when i found them at 1p so i think they can wait to hear about the tiny ones for a while longer. At least until i hit up a couple more expresses in the morning ;-)

Oooh I loved The Famous Five and Secret Seven. I think that I read every one of Enid Blyton's books - The Five Find Outers and Dog, the Adventure Series, Naughty Amelia Jane, Mr Pink-Whistle, St Clares, Mallory Towers.

Mr pink whistle and mallory towers......now i remeber those.....takes me back......mr pink whistle my favourite....

I loved Mr Meddle's Muddles and then the Adventure series but I have read most of Enid Blyton. I also loved the Chronicle of Narnia by CS lewis and still love them now. Then Adrian Mole Diaries which I still love reading the sequels to and hope she writes more.

I adore reading and my kindle is always in my bag or my hand.:D

Mr Meddle's Muddles!! I'd forgotten all about that. Thanks. I couldn't get into the Narnia books but I loved Adrian Mole. I went from Enid Blyton to Malcolm Saville and felt very grown up!

Oops. Another donut award to me! ;)

DODO, well done on your 1p find. :T Has your store still got those Little Miss 10p bags, about time they went to 1p too. ;) Don't think any of the big P**le stores had any of the bears left. Last time I saw them was over your way. :) Glad you got a tea cosy, did it have 342 sticker on too? I don't suppose you noticed any of the 88p glasses did you? Not that I think I will be over your way for a while. Will check the trees for you if I see them. :D

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
I was given the Mallory Towers box set by my neighbour when I was about 10 or 11, it was in fantastic condition and a 1st edition. It had been her DDs but she didn't want it anymore so it was passed to me and I spent many afternoons that summer lying in the garden reading these and had the whole set read by the end of the holidays!! I think I still have it somewhere, at least I hope I do because it was still in great condition including the box for them.

Beddie byes for me, have given up on my Ts direct order for now :( will see if I can get it ordered tomorrow.

    Goodnight all!
