B4 we know it, its a lecture on morals, good parenting, whether she is entitle to this benefit or that etc etc.

All she wants is a holiday. The other stuff elsewhere I couldnt give a toss about.

im sorry to have to say this but the original poster said herself that her holiday to malta was awfull because she was up early and in her room by 10 pm at night she was the one that was moaning about her toddler and that she doesnt like toddlers.

welcome to the real world thats what having kids is all about.

you should be very lucky that you have a healthy child cause there are plenty of us me included that have children with special needs and physically disabled kids who would give our right arm to have a noisy mischievous "normal" toddler dont get me wrong i love my son to bits but hearing people moan when they have kids without dissabilities makes me mad
try going through what we have to go through every day then you will have something proper to moan about!!!

You may find this a little harsh but it is the truth I am afraid.

Your child WILL be damaged if he feels unloved and unwanted.

He will feel UNLOVED and UNWANTED if you are bored with him and dont enjoy being around him.

Children dont need lots of holidays, toys or the like, they need the love of both parents if possible and if that is not possible then they need twice the love from one parent.

I am 47 yr old single parent of 4 children, ages 19, 18 and twins aged 12. My oldest two children spent a number of years whilst growing up living with their father who was 'Bored by them, found them too demanding and didnt enjoy their company'.

Trust me, now aged 18 and 19 those children are suffering big time from lack of attention and love, I fear they will probably never recover entirely.

Last of all, it isnt enough to tell your kids you love them, you have to show them, endlessly. If that means doing things that you dont always enjoy then thats just how it is. A good parent cannot be selfish when the kids are around. Be selfish when they are in bed - treat yourself to a glass of wine - a bubbly bath - a good film - a fluffy blanket - anything to make yourself feel good so you can give lots of love, time and attention to the little ones.

You really should try, after all, our kids dont ask to be born, we decide to have them.
