Oh, I'm sure 2018 will be full of bargains for us all - because that's what we're about. :D

    Wishing everyone a fab time.

Hopefully lots of lovely new unwanted christmas gifts hit the chazzas in January. And lots of lovely hardly-used things which have been replaced by new, as well.

I used to have a lovely Pyrex casserole dish which I used to make a chilli - on the hob. It exploded all over me. I was very young at the time and had no idea what I was doing.

 Pyrex isn't made for hobs! MIL had a lucky escape when one exploded all over her kitchen when she accidentally put it down onto a cooker ring that was on.

It's brilliant stuff though for oven/storage uses. My inherited Pyrex is invaluable.

I love my pyrex jugs and bowls.
I also have some Pyroflam casseroles which are great and go from hob to oven to freezer.
It's great being able to brown stuff on the hob and then put it in the oven.

:) I have some of Grandma's Pyrex (she passed in 1970) and use them frequently. I also have some cast-offs from Mum and various other things in Pyrex which I've bought myself from carboots and chazzers. I love a good bit of Pyrex, the older the better.

How are you getting on? Must be exciting spending Christmas with one young child and another on the way - how many weeks to go now?
