Just walked home from work and took in three or four charity shops on my way, for the grand sum of £7.50 in total I have managed to snag two turquoise t-shirts, a blouse for work, a black wrap/snug thingy, and best of all a beautiful, unworn linen/cotton turquoise summer jacket. Result! :T

A couple of weeks ago my local Amnesty for Books had a sale - all books for £1. That was my best charity shop haul in a long time!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I haven't found much at the charity shops recently, but got a BN Emma Bridgewater mug and a set of Sanderson soaps for 50p from a car boot sale on Sunday.:j

Picked up 3 pairs of m&s jeans on a sale rail for £1 each, they were all long length but ideal for my 3 new pairs of jean shorts :)

Just need to find a use for the legs I have cut off.

What about a door stopper or patch work bag.

See if there is an Emmaus near you, ours charges 30p for all adult books.

I found BN copies of River Cottage Everyday & Jamies 30 Minute Meals in a local BHF shop for £4 each, also a Hawkeshead fluffy fleece jumper for £3.50 in our local Hospice shop.

You could try stuffing the legs, wrapping rubber bands tightly round each end and then cover with ribbon bows, so it ends up looking a bit like a big cracker. No sewing involved.

It might not be an actual bargain, as I have seen similar cheaper on fleabay, but I was happy to pay £24.99 for a solid pine full lenth swivel mirror, not a cheap and nasty one but a very nice looking one.
