A set of 30 matching glass champagne flutes for £2, exactly what I was after for a family celebration in January. Perfect.
That's less than 7p per glass!

A Victorinox 7" meat cleaver with a rosewood handle for £5. I checked online when I got home and this version only seems to be available in the US for about $120 so I am very happy with that! It's frighteningly sharp (but I guess it is supposed to be).
Victorinox knives are good. I bought some from our local flea market a few years ago, I think it was stock from an ironmonger which had closed.

A pair of lined Liberty print fabric curtains for younger daughter's bedroom - she will be coming home to stay over Christmas and we've just given her room a long-overdue redecoration. Curtains £10, and so pretty!
    They sound lovely.
  • A like new, never-been-used, two tea light Brabanita Food Warmer for £2 at the Hospice Chazzer....perfect for Christmas!

The first 4 series of New Tricks in boxed DVDs, some still in cellophane for £3.99 a series. They will be a major part of dh's Christmas present as he adores them and watches the repeats constantly. A Mylene Klass book on 150 things to do with kids for £1,50 for my sister who is training to be a primary school teacher and a pale green old Denby coffee pot for ds2 who recently inherited a set of the pale green Denby from a relative to take to Uni when he goes. It was £3,50 but is perfect. Not the cheapest haul but some perfect Christmas pressies in there.

Oh and a copy of Affluenza for 99p for me - I've been wanting to read it for ages
