What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

I found a lovely Boden dress for £3.99 last week in the hospice shop. Normally anything Boden would be closer to £10 in there, so I was surprised. Unfortunately after having 2 kids in the space of 2 years it's not the best fit on me, so I'm in two minds whether to donate it back or to keep and hope I get into it one day!0

Thank you so much for the nettlebed sales info and map. I am ridiculously excited to go and we've organised a night away around it!
I've infected dh with my charity shop obsession and one daughter. She is currently working in New York and trawls the goodwill shops for bargains. Two of my daughters however are horrified by our interest
With the 12 year old wanting to " chop up with an axe" many of my cs treasures lol0 -
A big bag of Thomas and friends diecast trains and a wooden track for the grand price of £2!
My 3 year old was chuffed!0 -

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

Went to a charity shop in Orlando (ahem... yeah husband was baffled at my choice of shopping whilst on holiday! my friend who lives out there is also an avid charity shopper hahaha)
Got 3 Waterford Holiday Heirloom christmas ornaments for $10! Yay! (ok actually $5 but the guy in the shop was such a doll and a hoot that I donated $5 to the charity just because I felt like it LOL)
No idea of their worth but they are very obviously quality looking at them so very chuffedDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

So recently I have stopped buying in chazzer shops because we have everything we need. Not because I wanted to, just because I couldn't buy anything. The problem is I like to buy ahead for a rainy day and usually have to think of something to hunt down. Recently it hit me why don't I just buy the best "thing" in the chazzer store. This has made buying much easier today. It was a toss up between an embellished insect hairclip and pair of boys jeans. Could't decide so bought both fabulously easy!0

Just been shopping today, have picked up a really warm ski jacket.... protest gotech 5000. Paid £12. Just looked it up on line it costs £ 129.
I bought it as it's in perfect condition and really warm, thought I could walk the dog in it.:rotfl:Jue0 -
This week's finds.....
Per Una floaty skirt in turquoise and lilac £1.50
BHS rust coloured jersey top, (had the £18 price tag still attached) for £1.65
Handbag organiser/tidy/pocketty thing £2.50, (a bit overpriced but it was new and will stop me having to scrabble about in the bottom of a big bag!)
All from the hospice shop.
Off on holibobs for the next 2 weeks....how will I survive without my chazza fix?0 -
Not been looking in the CS very much as I dont need anything but had a quick look today in my local cancer charity one. Managed a lovely denim jacket ( labels cut out) in perfect condition for a friend for £6. I also found a melamine divided serving dish in the shape of a yacht for £4. It will be lovely with some nice savoury snacks as a little tree present for DS1 as he entertains frequently and is a keen sailor.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
