Also got a very nice jersey joules tunic with little hare motifs for £4.50
I'm looking for maddock indian tree crockery and whilst they did have Indian tree it wasn't maddock so I resisted

I'm coveting this coat.
Me too
Have had some lovely things in the past month or so, thought I would share
Custo Barcelona top, £2
White M&S Woman top with pintucks and silver buttons £2.25
Stripy French Connection top £2.13
Floaty Next top £2.98
Three bottles of new M&S hand lotion, a brand new with tag Primark makeup bag and a Next fabric handbag, £2 the lot. The hand lotion has gone in the gift drawer.
Stainless steel M&S lemon squeezer £1.99 as I broke my old glass one
Interesting South American looking white fabric top with little people stitched on it, 50p
Filthy dirty vintage Fred Basset bed throw, now cleaned after three goes in the machine and some spot cleaning! 50p from the dog bed box in the local chazza.
M&S cranberry colour leather look trousers £1
Crew clothing navy and pink striped elbow length sleeve t shirt, 50p
The OH, who is now a converted charity shopper, has had dozens of items of clothing, from long sleeved hippy style shirts to Dune summer pumps, and now always suggests a look round the chazzas if we go out anywhere near one!0 -
Some good bargains here ^^^.
My latest isn't one to swing from the chandelier about (if I had one) but a virtually new paperback of The Hobbit for 25p
A late-comer to JRR Tolkien, I insisted on reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy before I watched the DVD set I bought for my OH a few Christmas's ago & loved them.
We watched The 3 part 'Hobbit' but I'd not read the book.
Suggested we took it on our up-coming holiday but OH says it's too good (sun seems to rot books).0 -

If that's a genuine Barbour that's an outstanding bargain. You could always add some dog hair and straw to rock an authentic country vibe.....They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -

Thanks. I found the same one online just after I had bought it, priced £102. Blowed if I can find it now though! I think it is genuine - it has all the By Royal Appointment etc. labels sewn into the top of the back.
It came out really good after a 15 minute wash cycle at 20 degrees, with a good dollop of Shout all round the collar and cuffs. I haven't worn it yet but it has pride of place in my coats wardrobe.
I almost wish charity shops wouldn't do these "blanket" sales, where everything is £1, as they could have got far more for a nice item like that jacket. I really must make a donation to salve my conscience.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

A lovely Pr!cis Jersey dress in a style that really works for me £8.50 so expensive but similar style £99 on their website.
Red converse which I put through the wash £4
Loads of stuff to donate today to hospice shop so hopefully more bargains to be had!0 -
Goodies found this week.......
Monsoon, as new, dark blue pure silk and silk lined top with pretty little beaded dragonflies all over...on the reduced to £1 rail at the community shop.
And on the 50p rail at the hospice shop...
A long sleeved T shirt, in white with a blue Delph-stylee pattern, looks very crisp and clean.
A beige, chiffony, pleated smocky type top from Topshop.
Then, they were selling all jewellery off at 4 for a £1 so me and a mate got 2 necklaces each for 50p.0 -
From the Sally Army "Everything £3 and under" sale:
Indigo top £3.00 (Looks unworn)
Per Una top: £2.00 " "
Fat Face top: £3.00 (Priced £25 on tag)
Now just have to donate three tops back coz I have a 'one in one out' policy atm!Normal people worry me.0
