Looks brand new suede jacket in the Salvation Army shop yesterday. Was priced up at £8 but was charged £1.50 - absolute steal. No marks at all, and a perfect fit but smells of moth balls so is currently having a blow on the line outside.0

From the AgeUK in town, a taupe faux leather jacket, a M&S khaki trench coat and a Principles cropped cap sleeved jacket, all £1 each.
From the Salvation Army, a Monsoon top, green with a crotchet design round the neck - £1, and a long vintage St Michaels suede coat with fur round the neck and cuffs (not for me) for £3. I heard the manager say that they were having a refit, so they were selling things off for either £1, £2 or £3.0 -
Grey suede sleeveless jacket £5, polo shirt for dh £3.50, alcojelly kit in brand new box for ds1 as a Xmas stocking filler £1.50 and Alan Titchmarsh gardening book £1.50. Had a good ramble as have a friend over visiting who is also a chazza fiend.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

A pair of M&S 100% linen trousers (Love Linen range) in khaki with a fine beige stripe.
These are wide legged, are pull-on and have a ribbed elasticated back so are very comfy to wear.
I have several pairs in different colours..
Almost had another pair of these in coral (although tag said 'crimson' - no way!) in Sue Ryder shop for £2 but I noticed that they had a faded stripe down the side of one leg. :mad:0 -
Ankle-length fitted, black, Laura Ashley cashmere coat £10, new Clarks shoes £2.99 (were £70 in Clarks the previous season). Lots of things over the years, some of which I keep. However, I wash and re-donate the washable clothes or, if unsuitable, either cut up for crafts or send for recycling. Nice to see a few things reappear on the hangers, earning more money for the charity.0

Only a gardening book for my friend in Barnardo's - it was about growing veg in small spaces & just right for her.
I wore my dress and shoes to the wedding on Wednesday & had quite a few compliments! The dress was lovely to wear so has earned a space in my wardrobe and the shoes were comfy and perfect as the wedding was held ona small woodland estate in a marquee - the heels were chunky so I didn't spike the grass!!!
Still donating more than I'm buying but happy that someone else will get the benefit and contribute to a good cause.
Happy hunting all xSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
