Disappointing purchase here too. I paid £5 for a pair of grey North Face just-above-the-ankle walking trousers in Scope.

On closer inspection they have little pale patches all over the bum and the sides of the legs, as if someone has sat on not quite dry paint.

To add insult to injury, the next day the same shop was selling all ladies clothing for £2!

It's times like this that I remind myself that it's in a good cause! :)
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

I'm sure the sheep and cows you encounter on your walks won't notice the pale patches.
Or if they do, they'll be far to polite to mention it. ;)

Got DsS two nice new semi-smart shirts, one M&E Autograph Boy age 14 and one Topman Small....... He's ten in two months, he's just that tall and broad in the shoulders like his Father lol - Both about £3 in our local All Aboard CS.

And yet more bits for baby... Inc several newborn size babygrows from Next (worn maybe once, if at all?!) for 50p each from a Willow Hospice CS.

The chazzer is a great source of good quality baby stuff. Don't skimp on the newborn outfits, although babies grow fast you'll find yourself changing them several times a day (think milk, vomit-y regurges, occasionally baby poo ;) so anything that might save you from washing at an inconvenient time will be a Godsend.

Been a good week for 'useful' buys....

Today I found a pair of navy linen 3/4 trousers from Dunnes, as new for £1.40....not exactly top quality but fit nicely. An unbranded navy, long sleeved scoopy necked T-shirt in navy for 50p. A fuchsia pink short sleeved T shirt and a paler pink fitness top from M & S....both 50p each. All from the hospice chazza sale :)

Had a good haul this morning:
    Mantaray tunic £1.00
    Debenhams full length dress £4.00
Manaray man's shirt £1.50, still with the cardbaord Mantaray label on. Will put away for OH's Christmas present.

    All from local hospice shop.

Sue Ryder shop had 'all women's and men's clothing for £2.00'.
Tried a few things on but wasn't tempted.
But I did buy a pair of Nike Dual Fusion running shoe, very little wear for £5.00

An armful of cookbooks (including one which I hope to be vegetarian food for beginners) for £2!

[It is time my 17 year old learned to follow a recipe. His little brother can make a sponge cake without help & at very little prompting! The youngest just washes up at present.]
