What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

The 95p clearance rail in a local hospice shop yielded some good bargains on Saturday - no 'big' brand names, but all things which I wanted : a lovely terracotta-coloured Hawkshead jumper, a lightweight magenta M&S jumper, a pretty lilac/red floral Per Una top, a navy and white showerproof jacket with hood, and over three metres of brand new forest-green fleece material.
I planned to use the fleece to sew Christmas tree shaped decorations to sell at a charity stall in December, but it's so chilly right now I'm tempted to keep it as a sofa throw0 -
Nothing to report for the last couple of weeks as been on hols. Back doing the rounds today tho and I found a lovely swirly glass sculpture in an amethyst shade for £2 and a box of brand new bras (Secret Possession - think its Primark!) were selling for 75p each....got one black and one navy one....all from the Community chazza shop0

Brand new with tags plain black bikini bottom £2.50 from hospice shop.
This make:
https://www.lascana.co.uk/web/main/aboutus.asp?cs_ev=footer-_-about-_-aboutlascana-_-click
which apparently is Look Again.
Has a nice silver tag which makes it look expensive, from looking at the website bottoms retail at around £25.
For those people wondering if I'm going topless ............Nooooooo! :rotfl:
I have a couple of odd tops I've bought from Tesco that need a plain black bottom and this one is more substantial at the sides than the others I've looked at.0 -
Went a bit nuts in South Woodford yesterday; 7 books in total (one of which I gave away within 5 mins
), and 3 dresses, 3 t-shirts and a jumper for our little princess.
The books included this one, a fascinating insight into working lives in the UK. Ironically the forward includes a portrait of a team at a chazzerValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
"No man is worth, crawling on the earth"- adapted from Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio
Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

Local Wessex Cancer Trust - a pair of black suede and patent Clarks Deva Daisy Sandals for £7.00 - they're virtually brand new! I think they originally retailed at about £50.00 but fleabay had a pair for about £30.00 although not my size lol!!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Clarks fuchsia pink suede sandals with a platform and wedge - £5.99.
On closer inspection the suede was badly marked and the heels were worn down, I'd have thought twice before donating these to my local hospice shop.
So no sale, no bargain.0 -
How disappointing Polly. I'm a shoeaholic and can never resist a quick once over but I'd never donate anything that wasn't in a wearable condition. The Wessex also had a lovely pair of fuchsia pink shoes with high heels and a ruffled front - not in my size which was good 'cos although they were lovely I'd probably never wear them!! My local Sue Ryder does rags so anything unsuitable is marked up for them and at least I know they will get something for it.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
