Well, I'm off on my holidays tomorrow & I reckon 75% of OH's stuff & 90% of mine came from a Charity shop.
Will I look smart?
You bet I will! :T
See you guys later. :wave:0 -

My bargains this past week :
Two large oblong Pyrex glass baking dishes in perfect condition for 50p each. I like to batch bake for the freezer, especially time-consuming things like lasagne or moussaka, but then I find I have used my Pyrex dish and it's tied up for several weeks in the freezer so a couple of extras will be very useful indeed.
Ten large black plastic planters (each about 18 inches high x 18 inches diameter), 6 seed trays, and 11 brand new seed tray inserts for the grand total of £3.
A Dymo letratag label maker, brand new and sealed for £2. I already have one of these (it's great for making seed labels with) and this particular model retails for over £25 so it was a fab bargain for two quid: I sold it immediately on eBay for £18 plus postage so I'm very happy
We have the same problem except we keep ours in the fridge - why is it that with Pyrex dishes you're either using them all or you have so many that they're piled in a stack in your kitchen?? It frustrates me no end but I would never part with any of my Pyrex (most inherited from grandparents)“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. Been donating more lately & not had much chance to browse however, dropped off another bag of bits to my local Sue Ryder yesterday and spotted a very nice dress. It was marked as small and the neck label had been removed but as I am a canny CS'r I checked the washing label on the inside - marked as size 14! I decided to try it cos it did look on the small side but it's a stretchy fabric and fits me perfectly and its long enough!! It's black with deep pink flowers graduating towards the hem and will be perfect for a summer wedding I'm going to -. all for £5.50!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

I was in town yesterday and noticed that the Scope shop had banners in the window saying everything £1. That was enough to draw me in. I could have kitted myself out with a whole new wardrobe for £20, but I exercised restraint and bought a smart fashionable black jacket, and a pale blue fleecy top.

2 puzzles in the same box for 50p, really confused me when the box said 50 pieces and there was 75 in there! I had to make them up to check-Peppa Pig ones at that.
A food bingo game for 99p and another puzzle game for 49p. They're for the kiddies at my friends school in the Seychelles, craft and game stuff is hard to get over there.
Plus a short summer type dress for 99p for my friend, too short for me but my friend is very short! X
Another wooden number puzzle for 99p plus an over swimsuit wrap type shirt for my friend, also 99p. Gonna have no room in the suitcase for my clothes at this rate!0
