What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

I can't really answer your question but speaking personally I always take my unwanted stuff directly to the charity shop of my choice (it's a local Hospice).
At least I know that it's got to the place I intended.
I am very fortunate as not being a driver it it is difficult to take too much to the Charity shop but the Council provide us with lilac plastic recyle bags specifically for clothing :T so this is where I put things that are not good enough to donate to a charity shop and can leave the bag by the front gate.0 -
We took a trip to Edinburgh last week which included a day in North Berwick (lovely place with some wonderful shops!)
I picked up the following from a couple of the local charity shops:
A Little White Company top for £3 (age 4) (RRP £20)
A Powell Craft ballerina rag doll for £3 (RRP £15)
A Disney Cars bedding set for £3.50 (RRP £10)
A chiffon & silk silver/greyhalter neck evening top for £3.50 and a black lace long sleeve top for £3.50, both F&F (Tesco) (RRP at least £10 each)“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. Just a little find yesterday at a local hospice shop. A little present for my uncle for 50p....the guy at the till said it was worth 50p of anyone's money once he'd read it and had a giggle! It's a little stone figure of a married couple on a sofa, and it says "the opinions expressed by the husband of this house are not necessarily those of the management."
2 vintage mid length skirts, one lemon in colour and the other a silky black with colourful flowers from the £1 rail that will look great teamed with a plain tee. A turquoise vest top with gold zip breast pocket also off the £1 rail.0 -
Today I got a Paul Smith suitcase in cabin bag size with pictures of cyclists on I've no idea of the original price but I paid £5.950

3 more books for me - and another Usborne "touchy-feely" one for the baby. Really useful since she loves books, and her favourite is whichever one I happen to be reading. So now I have a total of 3 chaz-purchased mint condition thick-cardboardy books for her full of bright colours, shiny shapes and different textures, which I lay out for her. Watching her "read" them (systematically turn over the pages and inspect the contents) is fascinating, especially when the books are upside down!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Not much to report till today.....
On Monday I got an M & S T shirt in lemon yellow, looks new - the Martin House Hospice shop were selling off T shirts for 50p.
On Tuesday at the other hospice garage sale I spotted an, as new, LK Bennet skirt on the 'good' rail, dark charcoal pencil-type skirt, lovely fabric and beautifully made but priced at £9. As you can't try on I talked myself out of it at that price but kept thinking about it all week. So I decided to take a tape measure with me today to compare it with an existing well fitting skirt and if it was still there and seemed likely it would fit I would splurge. It was and I didSo pleased, it fits perfectly and I love it. I happened to call into the LK Bennet shop in Harrogate last week-end and was  at the prices so I think it was a bargain at £9.

I've got one! I've got one! :j
It seems ages since I got a bargain.
From our hospice shop:
a UGG cable knit beanie-style hat in fawn. Had no tag on, I asked the lady, she looked at the logo and said 'Oh, Australia'. How does 75p sound?' It sounded pretty good to me - they are about £60 new.
a Next multi-coloured tunic (that I can get away with as a beach dress) in wonderful shades of fuchsia pink, purple, turquoise, jade & orange with a fuchsia pink crochured bit at the neck and random sequins. £3.50. It will be perfect for travelling in to match my fuchsia & turquoise trainers. I just need to find some toning leggings.
Primark here I come.0
