We went back to ask about the mirror but the manager said that the dressing table I have and the wardrobe in there were a separate donation to the first full set and didn't come in with a mirror. We ended up leaving with a lovely solid coffee table, they told us we are welcome to come in and see them anytime. We have furnished our new house almost entirely from there0

Bought a gorgeous Yumi top for £1 from a hospice shop, lined, sleeveless black/multi pattern back and front with black cut-out roses round the neckline. Just needed a little trim of one or two frayed rose petals, now it looks like new0

Endless - just keep looking, one will turn up! Try looking on Gumtree or Preloved too as they sometimes surface on there (or you could post a wanted?) Can I join in? I love charity shopping and car boot sales. Yesterday I visited a local hospice shop and bought 3 bangles for a pound. Got home and took a closer look at what I thought was a yellow plastic fake leather one. Inside it says Ethan K.Googled name and look likes it is top end real crocodile leather that has been highly polished!!
No prices mentioned but his shops appear to be only for the very wealthy.
And last week managed to get four Tupperware plastic mugs from the 1970's for £1 in great colours to use in old caravan(when we get it). It's taking a while to collect it but I am enjoying the hunt.0 -

I could have spent a fortune in the shops...Clifton, Bristol seems to be where the wealthy donate their clothes!!“Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff.”0 -

(Not charity shop but...)
I went carbooting today and got a tea set with 4 saucers, cups, teapot, milk jug and sugar pot for £1, a heavy freestanding square mirror for dressing table (until I find a triple one) for £3, very pretty vintage dressing table set with roses has hand mirror and 2 brushes for £3, 2 vintage style frames with cute bird pictures for 20p each and 2 draught excluders for 50p each. My dressing table looks lovely, but will keep looking for triple mirror.0
