Three pairs of new M&S school shorts for the boy, £1 each. Think they were seconds as the stitching on the pockets was wonky, but that hardly matters.Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

Now look, you lot:
I've not had a piggin' bargain for weeks!
Been in 13 - yes 13 charity shops today & bought !!!!!! all.
So stop with all this crowing- especially about White Stuff (which I love).
I'm seriously sulking.
Posted this a week ago and now I'm :j, I'm back amongst you bargain finders. :rotfl:
Saw a lovely Betty Jackson Black jersey maxi dress in our local hospice shop.
Was my size and £5 so tried it on and it fitted.
BUT.....I'm very short and it was about ankle length, I was a bit suspicious and checked the hem and it had been shortened (pretty poorly).
I mentioned it to the assistant and she reduced it to £2.50. :T
Even though it was a hospice shop, I didn't feel too bad about accepting the reduction as they do get all my donations & I'm registered for gift-aid (and they'll probably get the dress back at some stage) and I do buy a lot of stuff from them.
I've now shortened it properly and it's ready for washing.
Very elegant dress in cream, terracotta and petrol blue abstract flower pattern with thick-ish shoulder straps and moulded bust pads that can be removed.0 -

I hadn't found any bargains in our village hospice shop for several months, then yesterday when I took some stuff down to donate, I found two pairs of M&S Per Una Jeans good as new £3.20 each. So I was a very happy woman. ( as long as I ignore the muffin top!)0
