What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

My charity shop 'bargain' ended up costing me £299 yesterday!
I spotted a lovely, still in original wrapper, iPad cover with a union jack design, for £1.99. Now anyone else would have walked away if they don't own an iPad.... One trip to Argos later and I now have something to put in my cover! It's not even a top-of-the-range job, as the cover is for an iPad 2, which is almost obsolete, so when I saw that my local branch of Argos still had one in stock I decided it's now or never.
I'm quite pleased with it, and my excuse is that my netbook isn't going to last forever (it has its moments now!), so it's an 'investment' :rotfl:.
Next time OH says do I want to go home on the bus with him, or stay in town for a bit, I think I'd better go with the first option! (:money:< this bloke agrees!)I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I've got a very pretty, pale lilac White Stuff t shirt for £4. I know that's not cheap but I happily paid £17.50 for a full price one the other day. I reasoned that for £4 I could afford to wear it for pottering about and not keep it for 'best'. Plus it's a size 8!:j0

Hello

Pair of Fell Walking Boots - with Vibram Sole and good ankle support - in MY size (9) - barely worn - £2.00 :j :j :j!
Off to Scotland at the end of this month, so they will be put to very good use.
I am also a size 9 and find it difficult buying cheap shoes on the high street (a lot of size 9s are really a wider fit size 8 IMO!)
But everytime I go a village near me I always come home with a couple of pairs of new shoes or boots from the charity shops :TMummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -

I can't remember who it is on this thread who recommended Barnards Green.
Anyway, I was in Malvern today and pressed on to BG (using my satnav as I had no clue where it was!) Very impressive charity shops and in one (St Richard's Hospice, I think?) I got a yellow Laura Ashley shirt with a 1950s style daisy design on. (Nicer than it sounds!)
Got it home to find it is made from silk. :-)
ETA - here is the same top on Ebay! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAURA-ASHLEY-Silk-Sunshine-yellow-Retro-Floral-Smock-Summer-Festival-Top-10-12-/111341256354?pt=UK_Women_s_Tops_Shirts&hash=item19ec74bea20
