We had The Italian Job on TV last night, and I remarked how lovely the theme song is... Matt Monro's 'On Days Like These'.

Today I happened upon a CD with that very song as the first one on it. This Hospice shop sells all their CDs for 20p anyway, but are currently having an 'everything in the shop half price' sale, so I got my CD for 10p :T.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

I'm going to Shrewsbury tomorrow - can anyone recommend the good charity shops there?

Very good day today :). A pair of brand new unworn Clarks lighweight 'Wave' shoes, perfect for summer (if we're having one this year :rotfl:) for £3. Also a bottle of No7 nail varnish, again brand new, in a lovely Teal colour (ideal for toenails!), for 10p. I popped into Boots to check afterwards, and the exact item is on sale for £6 :j.

Half price ladies clothing sale at the Community Hub this week - a La Redoute long sleeved sweater for £1.75 and a rust coloured Jumpers sweater for £1.25

Today at Age Concern shop - pretty lilac Per Una cardi for summer for £1.

I hesitated over a Jaegar stripy silk/cotton blouse and a lined Jacques Vert dress - both lovely and only a £1 each but left them for someone else as unsure if my ironing skills could cope with the blouse and although the dress was amazing, it was a size 12

Not been on here in ages, but today I got a pink pocket Filofax for £1.99. How much do they normally retail for?

I'm guessing it's a bit more than that, been wanting one for a while now!

An exciting morning in Kidderminster charity shops! Took my brother with me today.

He found some golf clubs in Kemp and bought one to teach my sons to play - £2.50.

    I bought (left to right):

    081.jpg

BHS suit jacket for bigger son. Looks unworn. £2.50 :-)

Coast skirt. Again, looks unworn. £4.50

M and S "Indigo" mohair jumper with beads. £4.50

All from the Mind shop - didn't see anything in any of the others!!

Also popped in to Bewdley on the way home but nothing there.
