A couple of Mantaray (Debenhams) tops in "my" colours - £7 for both :)
  • Got Mr TA some bargains yesterday - all 99p each. An M & S Collezione short sleeved shirt (unworn!), Alexander dvd and a 4 box dvd set of "action" films. Alas nothing for myself!!

This was in the St Gemma's hospice shop in Otley where they sell nearly everything for 99p. Just one separate rail where items are individually priced. On there I spotted a Max Mara trouser suit for £4 but I'm sure it was circa 1970!!

I've only just ventured into the charity shops...

I now when nipping to town let my daughter pick a new book costing about 10p in most cases, similar in shops is £4 or £5 pound. It's stops her asking for everything she's sees!

On the lookout for some new things for my kitchen now

Today I picked up a plain cream ceramic plant pot holder for 50p. In perfect condition, good as new, and my orchid that I rescued from the reduced shelf in Waitrose and that has flowered prolifically for the last six months looks wonderful in it :j

Also got a great big, brand new floor cloth/cleaning cloth type of thing for 50p :)

I do love the sheer randomness of chazza shop shopping.....you just never know what you are going to find next! :rotfl:

Am on holiday with friends in Yorks/Lancs for a week, we went into a cs and found they're selling paperbacks and hardbacks at 3 for £1. When I live darn sarf cs books are at least 99p each, some hardbacks as much as £2.50p. Will definitely be going back there before I leave for home :)

Is that the new Kemp Hospice shop Suze? I think the prices are reasonable but they could do with a bit more stock, the shop is so big!
I'm near Exeter next week, does anyone know any good chazzers there? Not that I shall spend my holiday looking in Charity Shops of course (in case my husband reads this) lol.
