An apparently brand new, doesn't seem to have ever been used or registered with Amazon, Kindle Keyboard for £25 :j. The battery was totally dead in the shop (local Hospice), so it was a gamble, but it works fine. Came with a proper Amazon charger and the instructions booklet, all in new condition.
Have spent the day working out how to connect to the Internet on it, which does work albeit it's a very no-frills version (of t'internet). I already had a basic Kindle, and since setting up the new one with Amazon, it seems to have automatically transferred all my books across!
Just debating whether to pay £15.99 (or more) for a case for it now, which would somewhat cancel out the bargain! I already have a slip-in case (was £2.00 in... a charity shop) that it fits in, but I fancy getting one that I can keep it in while I'm reading. I'll keep my eyes open when I'm out and about, and maybe find one cheap 'somewhere' :rotfl:.

I would check out your local poundland the smallest neoprene computer case (think its 11 inch) is a perfect fit for the kindle keyboard, they also have had recently the book style covers, they are normally with the headphones / computer stuff. They have also had the rubbery silcon protective covers as well0 -

A paper FX craft kit for my daughter. I got it from my local red cross for £3 (they are about £20 new). Its complete and has kept her and her brother busy all weekend. I'm really pleased with it as I'd look at getting one for them before and they're also using old next directories and magazines as the paper.
I also have bits of gluey paper all over the place but at least they're not arguing and playing together nicely!0 -
Today, from the Community Chazza... A pair of camel coloured cord trousers by Viyella, fit perfectly and good as new for £1 :j
Last week from the Hospice Chazza... 2 x 50p T shirts, both M & S, one brown with fancy beading and one a lovely turquoise :j0 -
I had a Jigsaw skirt for £4 and a French Connection top for £3.99 at the weekend, along with the most wonderful vintage shift dress, very 70s floral in blues, turquoise and green, for £4.99. I wore that today and had no end of compliments, and every time I caught sight of myself in a window I had a little admire of the dress- it's utterly wonderfulThey call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0

Hi all
I've been in Droitwich again today shopping. I bought
*Stripy/Laced 3/4 sleeve New Look top £3.25 (later saw this still full price in New Look, so very pleased)
*Peach River Island Thin Knitted Jumper £1.97 (i'd been eyeing this up for a few weeks and it was on the sale rail this week)
*Next dog print shirt for DS £1.50. I'd been trying to get this particular shirt on ebay for a while, but it always went for silly money even secondhand, so pleased to find it in his size today.
I also got DS a Happyland Police Station for £1 in a Kidderminster shop last week, complete with little people.
I noticed the dresses i really liked in the one charity shop, but way out of my price range, were still there today. Hoping they turn up on the sale rail soon.
