Does anyone know of good charity shops in London? Have been in some that were expensive for normal clothes. Wondering if there are any areas which you can get some better makes for a decent price.

Couldn't find anything in Kidderminster this morning! I like the new Kemp shop but wonder what they're going to do with the old caf! upstairs?

Anyway, went to Ludlow afterwards and bought the following:

    left to right:

Grey and white Top Man (XXS) T shirt for bigger son £1.99 (brand new)

White Top Man (XXS) T shirt £2.99 (brand new)

Per Una jumper, very textured like crochet over wool (photo doesn't show it!). Looks brand new but no tags. £7.

    All from Oxfam.

2 pregnancy books for my sister and 2 books for sons from the Oxfam bookshop.

The third book was free with bigger son's Book Day voucher!

Shaw Trust shop in Stourport today!

A blue checked Superdry shirt for smaller son!! £3.50.

They both love the jackets and have one each (from Ebay).

Saw a lovely Joules dress in Oxfam today. My size :T. £25 . Needless to say, it's still in their window :money:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Hobsons Choice - The things i bought the other day were from the new Kemp Hospice shop. I do agree about the stock levels though compared to the size of the shop. I also wondered whether they'd close the other Kemp shop and bring the bridal section to the big shop.
Very jealous of your Superdry bargain, i never seem to get anything from Stourport. I find all of the shops stupidely over-priced, haven't been there for a while so maybe it's changed.

No bargains for me today. Good for my purse however.

I got a Hobbs skirt for £2 and a brand new with tags pair of M&S Autograph 100% linen trousers for £2.25 :D

They don't compare to my 70s shift dress (post 2650) though, just look at the beauty of this print!:

Just heard there's a new Dr. B's cs opened up in a nearby town, apparently they're selling everything for £1.99p. Will be heading there very shortly, hope I don't get carried away! Will be reporting back...:)
  • I was back in the St Gemma's in Otley yesterday. Even better bargains to be had! It was the usual "everything 99p" but women's trousers and skirts were further reduced to 50p!!! I got 3 shirts for DH - all very good condition - another M & S Collezione, a Red Herring and a Next one. A linen shirt for myself and an M & S Per Una skirt for 50p! A good haul for £4.46. I was happy to put a good donation into their counter collecting box for those bargains.
