Hobsons Choice & Frith - I must have spotted you both around the charity shops at some point as I'm from Kidderminster, although i also shop in Worcester, Droitwich and Stourbridge too.
I was in Droitwich today and picked up a Next Xmas jumper for my son (Yes Xmas i know, i'm one of those crazy people who shop all year round) for £2.25. Nothing for myself though this time.

Oooh Suze .. I always seem to get my best bargains from Stourbridge (ssh .. don't tell anyone).
Worcester can be a bit hit and miss and some are expensive, don't you find?
Not tried Droitwich yet, for some reason it hasn't been on my radar - but will rectify that.
I live in Kidderminster too - looking forward to the new Hospice shop opening in the (closed) In Touch premises. Woo hoo!
Bargain yesterday: Lovely Next top, £1.99 from Age Concern. Just right for me 'ols.Normal people worry me.0 -
Just back from the hospice chazza sale where I found...
M & S, BNWT, black & white, maxi beach dress for £6 (£37.50 on the tag) :j
Navy, lightweight, parka-type jacket - which sadly I didn't bother trying on....although it is my usual size it is flippin' enormous. £4 wasted there!0 -
Hobsons Choice - is In Touch the shop between Oxfam and the other charity shop that goes back a long distance?
*Waves to Suzexxx*
I live about 12 miles from Kidderminster but my younger son goes to school there.0 -
That's the one Frith, very close to the Oxfam and Age Concern shop. It used to be an upmarket clothes shop with a hairdresser and restaurant upstairs. Now they're going to bring it down to MY level :j
Should be open in a couple of weeks and I assume they'll close the smaller Kemp Hospice shop then.Normal people worry me.0 -
Hi everyone. I don't post on this forum often but I'm so pleased with my yesterday bargain. I spent whole £15 on my trip, but... I got a lovely xxl men's Austin Reed shirt for patchwork, lots of buttons, 100% wool knitting yarn and... an amazing black silk/cotton dress. It fits perfectly and when I googled the brand, it is US designer that retails at $500-1000 for a dress.
I have never found a bargain like this and will definately visit the shop more frequently as they had a lot of decent stock.
To add to my joy today, I found lots of lovely fabrics at WRAP and a kind freecycler gave me a dressmakers dummy.0 -
Panterka, you did really well there,
I would just love a dressmakers dummy! So so much!
I've even considered buying one at £120.
Yesterday I gotta pair of befits fine leather brogues in a sort of Rose gold colour! sounds weird! But they are nice and will look good under jeans or even a maxi, they are very light, not a punched hole type brogue , maybe more of a a lace up leather pump!
My size, unworn, £4.99 , I reckon about £60-£70 new.
