What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

Very impressed at the Freecycled dressmakers dummy! Not sure my DH would be too impressed if I managed to get one.
I don't often get bargains in chain charity shops, but I got a top like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEXT-SIZE-10-PINK-SWALLOW-BIRD-PRINT-SHIRT-BLOUSE-TOP-PETER-PAN-COLLAR-/291080390471?pt=UK_Women_s_Tops_Shirts&hash=item43c5be4747&nma=true&si=UgeHAGebsJfNDLlnGsYo0wzAeLk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 for £1.99 in Oxfam yesterday. Amazing as Next is usually massively marked up, but I just love the print.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Woo-hoo! :T
Had a trip to Age UK CS yesterday after a self imposed ban on buying non-essentials.
Everything was still a £1 an item - I got a lovely grey tweed Wallis coat, a long green/blue M&S cardi, a ditsy floral Principles maxi dress and a chunky long black cardi.
The thrill of this little splurge will have to last for the next month as having another tight month moneywise but it was £4 well spent :T:heartpuls The best things in life aren't things :heartpuls
2017 Grocery challenge £110.00 per week/ £5720 a year

I spent £4 on a skirt yesterday- long, brown, 100% wool- the label says Kenzo () and when I looked them up they sell skirts for hundreds of pounds!
(I can't think of Kenzo without thinking of Janey's baby in My Family though
) They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

Strangely I thought that the Cancer shop prices were a bit more realistic when I was in there last week. £3 for a Jigsaw camisole. Hopefully they're getting the idea.0 -

Would be nice but seems to be a slow process. Just back from a weekend in Aberdeen. Used Office shoes in Home Start charity shop £10.00. New shoes in Office sale were starting from £9.00. New silver clutch bag in Shoe Express sale £3.49 - £3.89, used tatty one in Sailors Society £5.00. I have stopped going into a lot of charity shops as the prices are unrealistic. Saw a new clutch bag in Red Cross shop in a nearby town at £12.99. Similar quality were £10.00 in a local shop.
I think they forget that they have competition from ebay and car boots. I think they are probably losing money by selling a lot less for higher prices. 2 charity shops have closed down in my town in the last couple of months.0 -
My bigger son is very interested in camping/survival etc and has saved up this year to get a better tent.
Went in the armed services shop (Kidder) and got him a lilo pump (also useful for their footballs) and 2 tiny, fold up camping stools. All brand new with the tags on for £5!0 -

Got-it-spend-it, my partner doesnt know about it yet:))) I am sure that the word "clutter" will be mentioned in the conversation when he finds out.
But I've dreamed of having one for some time, just could not justify the spending.0 -
