A military style wool mix cropped jacket, probably 1980s, for €7 - it had the dry cleaning tag still attached so don't need to wash it either :D I might dress it up for Xmas into a drummer boy outfit!

I picked up a brand new top and an M&S dress in my local BHF shop - total cost was about £16, dress alone would have been £45. M&S seem to believe ladies don't wear bras any more though, so it needs some altering if I am not to let my secrets spill out :rotfl:

Looking forward to the local Scouts Bazaar this weekend - 20p an item. None of my clothes fit any more, so I'm looking forward to refilling my wardrobe on the cheap.

At the weekend in the Willen hospice shop in Olney I got a pair of black Jaegar trousers for £6. They looked like new and when I looked on line they are £100 + Also a Next embroidered evening top, they look great together.
I'm really really pleased, this is only the 2nd time I've brought something from a charity shop, other than things for kids dressing up days. I was only there killing time waiting for hubby having a suit fitting. I'll definitely be going back.
I also looked in the Mercy in Action shop down the road but there stuff seemed pricey - £20/ £30 for many things.

Not technically a CS find, but a charity ‘nearly new sale’ at the weekend, picked up a Jolly Jumper baby doorway bouncer thing for $15 (about £8). DD loves it! They retail at about $70, so pretty pleased :)

Bright orange plant pot, which will look great on kitchen window sill, cost £2 and a jigsaw for 99p.
Dh is going to start working in a local cs now he is retired, so will have him giving a full report what has come in.

I wasn't going to buy any more clothes as my wardrobes are all bursting, but yesterday I couldn't resist a lovely warm padded Dorothy Perkins gilet in a neutral stone colour, for £4.99. Perfect timing in view of the weather forecast for next week!:snow_laug
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

So I took an empty suitcase down to the Scouts jumble sale at the weekend, and filled it.

Sadly prices had gone up to a whopping 30p an item ;)

I bought 2 per una tops, a bench hoodie, 2 Next tunics, a Dotty P skirt and an italian designer thing with the main label cut out. There was an entire room of ladies wear - it was amazing.

Books were 20-30p for paperbacks - I spent a fiver and could have gone back for more.

I wish more places did jumble sales!

Not exactly a charity shop, but there are clothes swaps going on all over Barcelona this week. You take in clothes and get points for each piece, and then swap your points for something 'new'. So I got a dress, shirt and polo neck jumper for ... nothing. :money:

    I miss jumble sales ...
