Loving reading through this thread! I love a good charity shop bargain, and got a great purchase today! A Fat Face reversible jacket, it's grey one side and purple the other, and was only £4.50! Because it didn't have a label in the usual place (it was hidden in one of the pockets) I don't think they realised it was FF as they had some t-shirts in there that were £6!!
Will come in handy for this b****y cold April weather :)

Read through this thread this morning and was inspired to go and check my local charity shops for bargains!

I got a fisher price roll a round ball for my baby for 10p from red cross and 3 soup bowls for £1.20 from st peter's hospice.

    Very pleased!

we have another charity shop opening next week so i will have to have a rummage in there as well!
  • Well havent been out very much due to family illness. But made a trip today, got a brand new purple jacket for a £1.00, a top for a £1.00 and a TU blouse for £3.49 and a conran book for 99p. Went over to my usual charity shop got a set of kitch cats salt and peppers for £2.99. I have seen these in London for £20.00 so I was well pleased. But once I am well enough I will be back on the prowl!!!

  • :embarasse: I have never been in a charity shop so I'm going to go to the new Sue Ryder superstore that opened in town last week when I'm out and about this afternoon
  • I got a lovely floral New look top today for £2.99, I saw the same top last year for £13, really loved it but couldn't justify spending the £13 and now got it for £10 off. Lovely!
  • Well I did it, I'm no longer a charity shop virgin lol

I found a pair of maternity trousers £3.50 and a Winnie the pooh nursery rhyme book for £1.25

All in all a good outing

heyyyyy. i couldnt believe you said you had never been in a charity shop untill today!. Wow, i was brough up on charity shops and jumble sales!.

I never seem to find any bargains. I keep looking at trousers, but i'm 5ft 2, and all the ones in charity shops seem to be massively long!. I also think, if you want a bargain, you have to go to the shop in the morning, when they have put new items out. Then again you could go in 5 mins from closing and thind the thing you have been looking for, for ages!.

  • I didn't think I'd find anything, being a plus size and pregnant but I was surprised. I'll be going back next week for another look
