Delighted!!!! I got a Cornishware milk jug for 50p today!
I also tried on a Louise Kennedy wool coat - £9.50. But it was too big, so I reluctantly put it back on the rail and had a little cry.Life is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A
Never regret something that once made you smile :A0 -
It's not a massive bargain but I bought a 'Casa Di Borsa' bag for £1.00.
These only retail on Amazon for about £8.50 but this is new and it will be great for holidays as it has lots of zips (which are multi-coloured in shades of pink/purple & green) to go with the Spirograph-style flower pattern on the bag.
It also has a hook attached inside the bag for your keys.
In fact, it's very similar in design to a Cath Kidston bag my friend has so I'm going to be a tad coy about where it came from and how much it cost.
Kitschkitty - hope you are OK.0 -
For diferent reasons, I need to have a huge clearout of both mine & my mum's houses.
Ideally, I'd like to try & sell some stuff but I've never sold on Ebay/Gumtree etc & don't think I've got the time to either because if I have to take photos, list & then wait for replies (what if they don't sell?), I'll just end up keeping it all. I'm bad enough for jumble bags - sort stuff out & then rummage back through it while waiting for it to be collected! So, it will have to got to the CS.
I keep berating myself for the amount of stuff I buy, not use, end up taking to the charity shop - great for them, I know, but I seem to be constantly asking myself "why did I buy this?".
I need to join kitschkitty in a 'buying ban' to keep myself sane.
But I did manage to get some great paperbacks in CS sale - 10p each, so got half a dozen.0 -

I've got quite a lot of stuff that I'm considering selling on ebay, but I don't want to list them and it end up costing me money if they don't sell.
I'm currently tracking similar items on ebay to see if they sell and will then decide whether it's worth listing or to just take them to a charity shop.
I've got about 4 pairs of very lightly worn Doc Martens (which are very 'in' at the moment) so I think they will be OK on ebay - and I bought all of them either from charity shops or our local flea market years ago so will probably make a profit.
To add to my Case Di Borse bag bargain, I also bought a brand new M&S bra which currently retails at £16.00 from Oxfam.0 -
@kitschkitty Hope you're ok? I'm sure you'll find the odd thing maybe say under 50p to keep you going and give your little treat
@Chris25 Do you have a smartphone? If so, it's loads easier now to put things onto eBay! I always use that now, much easier and quicker than the conventional way of taking photos with a camera, putting on PC, then putting on eBay etc.
@Pollycat What size are your Docs btw? I love Docs, still got my very first pair!0 -

I have a couple of pairs of size 2 - one a plain brown pair, the other is patent pale blue-y turquoise swirls, plus a pair of size 2 black patent sandals.
The others are size 3 - a black patent pair that I've worn once and have a slightly higher heel than normal - a bit Goth-like and a pair of dark green leather ones.
I think there might be more but not sure.
These are the ones I think I'm keeping, a mixture of size 2 & 3:
a pair of patent lemon-yellow
tartan fabric
purple
2 pairs of flowered
a brown pair unlike any design I've ever seen before
and a pair of brown nubuck shoes.
I've had all these for at least 10 years.
OMG! :eek:0 -
Good day today
.
Pair of Next summery flat shoes in an unusual apple green colour £1.99
Pair of Hi-Tec "walking sandals", cream colour and look like new £3.99
Pair of cute folding slip-on party shoes that come in their own pouch £3
BNWT Regatta thermal full-zip fleece in a nice damson colour £3.99
M&S pink tee-shirt 99p
I didn't go out for shoes, nor for a thermal fleece on the hottest day of the year lol, but a bargain's a bargain :T.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Got a nice bag of kids' stuff for just £5.50 the other day:
- Disney Bouncing Tigger game (a bit like Buckeroo) @ £1
- 2 x toddler educational jigsaw sets @ 50p each (one of which stepson has done the set of 4 nursery rhyme jigsaws 4 times already, well worth the 50p!)
- Surfer-style top for stepson @ £1
- 5 x pieces of clothing for baby on the way @ 50p each
Very pleased with this little haul0 -
Got a couple of nice finds in Save the Children today.
Seed beaded bracelet for 50p (a nice mixture of all kinds of blues in a navajo sort of design)
and a maroon sleeveless long dress, not quite maxi with a blue and soft pink flower design near the hem for £2. Not sure when I'll wear it but it's lovely nontheless.0
