    A framed cross stitch sampler for $8.00. "There is a special place in heaven for the mother of two sons". Sums it up nicely.

    I collect Kahla porcelain from the old DDR. Scored a coffee cup for a dollar.

    And a Phoenix bone china cup and saucer in a pretty pink and blue art deco floral. $3.00.

    Happy.

    I got a pair of white linen curtains for 2.99 today..they are too long for my kitchen window, but I can take them up. They were all manky and stained, but have washed up spotlessly.
    Also got 2 forks for 25p each to use as tie backs for the curtains. :D
    PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.

    That's a really good idea! I need some kitchen curtain tiebacks! Do you do a Uri Geller on them to bend them! :rotfl:

    lol, that's my plan tomorrow...fork bending. :D
    I got some 'old fashioned' forks with long prongs that look quite nice. I need to drill a hole in the handle so I can screw them to the wall and then bend them! Hope they don't snap! :o

    If you can bend them around something solid and tubular you'll end up with a better shape and less chance of breaking them, when applying the pressure you need (for ease drill them first).

    Got myself a nice tunic top for £2 today when I was dropping off a load of stuff to the CS. :)
    A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

    I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases I feel the possessions possess them, rather than the other way round

    My recent chazza buys;

    Brown United Colors of Benetton handbag, which will go with loads of my stuff - £3.99 - BHF

    Pink and Grey exercise top, apparently with 'moisture wicking' technology :undecided off the pound rail - Hope Hospice

    'Alternative Vegan' cookbook by Dino Sarma featuring lots of yummy looking things - £2.99 - Oxfam

    'The Patchwork Girl' by Larry Niven, which is a little sci-fi novel, because I'm just dipping my toes into that genre - £1.99 - Oxfam

    Also at Oxfam I got a really pretty necklace with a sort of mother of pearl disk hanging off it, hard to explain! but it looks natural, not fake plastic. - 99p - Oxfam.
