    A brand new folder-style Kindle cover for £2. Bit of a gamble as I didn't have my Kindle with me, and the packaging didn't say which type it was for, but it fits perfectly. I already have a 'sleeve' type cover but wanted one that I can hold like a book when I'm travelling, so this is just the job.

    Also a lovely purse/wallet, again new and unused, for £1.99. Been looking for ages for a suitable one for when "old faithful" finally gets too scruffy, so I reckon this one would have been about £14.99 in TK Maxx. I bet I'm not alone in being fussy about my purse having to be exactly right, with sufficient note compartments and credit card slots etc., and a big enough purse section, so I was chuffed to find this one :). I've almost bought the occasional one in TK Maxx, but there was always something not quite 100% what I wanted. This one is perfect.

    Tomorrow I am taking a shopping trolley load of donations to Sue Ryder - got to keep making room for all my latest bargains! :D
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

    I'm guessing you were maybe in my "User Name" town!! The Westlife guy was probably clearing out his big house that is now up for sale!

    Hah, that I am! His house has been sold by the bank to a large Traveller family I was told.
  • I'm off to Cardiff this weekend with my treasure-hunting hat on! It's been so long since I've had a proper trawl through the charity shops - can't wait to get back into it. Are there any highly recommended CS in Cardiff?

    Ooh I had the full tea coffee sugar set of those when I was first married, brings back a few memories.

    This week from a local charity shop I picked up on of these for £4
    1294227156-00963200.jpg. I had been keeping my eyes open for one for a while for our pet bunny for his vet visits. It is a very sturdy white metal one and just needed a good wipe over, am so pleased.
    Hope you all have a good week with your CS hunting.:)

    My local Sue Ryder shop are having a sale on this week, with ladies clothes being 2 for £5.

    I picked up:
    2 x Next work skirts (one BNWT at £30) marked £5 & £10 = £5
    2 x wool mix sweaters at £4.99 each = £5
    Phase Eight tweed lined shift dress at £14.99}
    Next tailored trousers & waistcoat at £11.99 } = £5
    Regatta waterpoof padded walking / outdoor jacket at £14.99 }
    Next white cotton pintucked shirt at £4.99 } = £5

    Plus a pair of Clarks leather ankle boots at £5, a pair of Kurt Geiger grey patent leather heels for £9.99 and a pair of M&S Autograph purple suede leather heels for £9.99, which go perfectly with an M&S linen mix floral wrap I already have.

    Expensive, but I wouldn't have bought everything if it wasn't on offer!
