    3.8 O's today:D May be a while before I get an hawaii :think:
    1st one in 2012 came on 22nd May
    1st one last year came on April 30th

    Whats the big difference between ur system and many others on here then? I see you are also South facing, good pitch with no shade...thought u`d be hitting the 5 before April/May......especially if people like myself up here are achieving 4.6 O`s already! Curious to know that`s all.

    Not a lot! Could be location, or because my roof has a shallow slope of 28 degrees and gains in the summer months and loses in the winter ones.
    Swings and roundabouts....although I'd rather have the gain in winter I'm not gonna change my roof angle

    I had a 7 last year from my ESE,was well chuffed. At the time my SSW only managed a 6 but I'm hoping that may change this year.

    15.9 today. I'm pleased with this considering it was hazy all day::T

    I'm hopeful I'll get better on a fully clear day.
    4kw (16X250w Sharp). Samil Solar River 3680 TL inverter.
    E.mids/SSE. 35 degree roof pitch, no shading.

    Second Hawaii of the year with 10.27 kWh. March is looking pretty good so far, about 23% ahead of SAF PVGIS average per day (which is for the month as a whole and the second half of the month should, on average, be rather better than the first).
    2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

    After 3 consecutive days of 4/5 O`s it all came crashing down today, barely scraped a singular lonely O. Hardly seen the generation creep over 0.44 kW at anytime....not that I sit watching the pennies roll in all dat mind u! :o

    Out of curiousity, my Dad`s getting the same system as myself put in next week. I managed to get the guy to honour the same price I got a few weeks back. Just wondered how prices up here varied in comparison to you guys down south...

    U can see my system in my signature, and in addition I got an immersion link-up, Geo Solo monitor and 10 year warranty on inverter. All in cost was £6150.....how does that sound?

    Up by a fraction under 41% on PVGIS4 for March here ... lawn cut 3 times, scarified twice, replaced some old (wind damaged) feather-edge fencing, felled a couple of dead trees and dug out roots, planted a dozen fruit trees, some borders cleared and replanted with new shrubs, new cuttings in greenhouse ... and, as you say, it's not even the middle of March yet !!

    November 2011 I paid a tad over £7K for 2.5 kWp system, but the return from fit makes up the odds......:D

    Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
