I think this might do the trick. need to get hot tub manual out to see max consumption, to make sure it's not more than 3kw. I don't think it is, my monitor appears to randomly go up by 1kw a few time throughout the day, which I am assuming is the heating element on hot tub.

You do realise that you'll also require a Wattson for that optiplug. It don't work by magic unfortunatelyThat's not quite the 50 quid you were hoping for.....

Errrr....nope, didn't realise that. I have no idea about the tech available, hence the question;)
