    Hi,

This is the first time that I have used a forum, so not even sure if I'm posting things in the correct way...

My system is a 4kw, 16 X 250w sharp panels, samil solar river 3680th inverter.

My home is in post code region 11, a 140 degree orientation (SSE I believe). Roof pitch is 35 degrees.
    :)

Here is an other Samil user:

Thank you for the link John. I read with interest (and even understood some of it:D ).

Following on from kind advice given since my install last week...

I contacted my installer today to explore the option of switching my current Owl Intuition monitor for a Wattson, that will hopefully allow my to make use of their OptiPlug.

They are looking into this and hopefully getting back to me soon.
I appreciate that there will be some cost involved at my end.
If I have understood correctly, I will need a Wattson Solar Plus monitor to enable use of OptiPlug. If I've looked at correct model, I think they retail for approx £150. Adding in OptiPlug at £40-£50, I think it will cost me about £75-£80 to change over.

The only thing I am uncertain of is the wireless range of the Optiplug itself. I can't seem to find it in any online spec/data.
