Thanks to Martyn 1981 for the very informative sticky at the start of the thread it was so helpful. I haven't yet worked out were the thanks button is

It would seem that the 'Thanks' button disappears when a posting is a year (I think) old. For newer posts it would be a button at bottom of the text.

But I would think a message saying thanks is even better than just clicking on a button.

Hiya Sleepy. Thanks for the thanks, but must spread it around, as the thread was a group effort. I suggested that an amalgamation of information might be useful, and lots of posters helped me with the content.

It's a bit unfair to single people out, but Eric Mears & Sly Dog Jonah helped loads, plus many others but I've forgotten, as most deleted their posts once the thread was 'polished' to keep it short and simple.

Back to generation, the last week has fluctuated wildly, but pretty much average overall, and gen for Aug is a little ahead of target. Week ahead looks mixed but '+' so hopefully a 4th straight +month. Unless I've jinxed it again! :o

Last night, today was going to be wall to wall sunshine. That got downgraded first thing this morning to bright start then occasional clouds. We did have the bright start but current 'cloudy interval' has lasted a couple of hours already and showing no sign of giving way.

You'll be able to guess how excited I am about the good week they've forecast

We did get a few sunny intervals later. Not a great day but Day yield of 13.58 kWh was a little above the pvgis forecast for an August day.

Not sure why I bothered to look, but all three forecasts are saying mostly cloudy with chances of some sunny intervals. Shan't be all that surprised if it snows :rotfl:

Think you may find that Wattson has a host of extra utilities available for it; such as the OptiPlug. This is a great device for using heating devices during the Winter to maximise your free PV available power. Check them all out @ http://www.diykyoto.com/uk/aboutus/optiplug

Back to the office: Only 4.08 O's today, wish I had gone for a 4 kWp system.......would have been into the 16.32 kWh today, for what high numbers are worth......... coffee.gif It still equates to the same amount of O's, but I guess it would look impressive...smiley-sad001.gif

    £8.29 yesterday (17.1 kWh)

Well ahead of the monthly forecast again so far.

If the weeks forecast is correct, will pass this years estimate, who would have thunk that 2 months ago.

Thanks for all your help, we have chosen an owl display and have ordered one.
Are the targets mentioned (pvgis) set by you personally or by your fit operator? I'm guessing it is a personal target but please excuse my ignorance. Also do "0"'s measure sunshine or performance?

We are in the process of sorting the paperwork out at the moment. And still waiting for our energy assessor.

We have a 3.36 Kw Panasonic system

    Yesterday we made 4.69 O's :T
