Well,.. maybe not tomorrow as I'm going to use the handily convenient scaffolding to do some maintenance on the guttering and remove the rubbish the tenant left on the shed roof... (Then start to sand down the housing association's laughable attempts at painting. They must have the only painters who don't use sandpaper, masking tape and dust-sheets, nor remove door handles, paint over finger plates and apply the paint with a yard broom...).

As somebody else commented elsewhere, the capital costs these days are not quite so fearsome, and even if I'm only getting 14.89p per unit it's still a better use than a depreciating cash ISA and I'm not really jealous of you lot on 40p a unit.:D

I sincerely hope you're right ! If annual output continues to grow at 3% pa , I should be generating around 7000 kWh/year in Y 25 and if inflation rate is also around 3% pa that will be worth £7000 or 58% ROI for last year of the contract.
But I'm about as confident of that as I am of our weather experts getting the forecast correct every day for that period :rotfl:

    Well well well,

For your personal forecast for tomorrow see below,

There should be a chance of some sunny spells around but with the possibility of a few showers or longer spells of rain although some parts may stay dry.

Bet you wish you had a 4kWp system, on them figures you'd be asking for donations to top you up to £800 for the 1/4....

I know, I know, twist the knife in the wound, won't you!

Joking aside, I find there's even industry agreement that the original rate was too generous, but the scheme did its job and the prices have come down. Just paid the invoice online from my cash ISA, and even at current rates it's a far better use of that 'dead' money, and I'm happy with my situation.

Here on the south coast it's now brightening up: think I'll bake some bread this afternoon in between sanding down duties..

Welcome to the clan! Rubbish start to the day here, but blue skies and a nice breeze translates as 3kW+ generation.
