yes but not for this year, will be next winter now, the application process starts a few months before next Christmas.

why is it disgusting?
the Warm Home Discount is directed at those on very low incomes, and not at those that are disabled specifically.
you could be a millionaire and receive DLA.
a DLA award in no way indicates if someone is living in fuel poverty

And you can be working and recieve DLA.

We were with southern elec and we were granted under the broader group, we then switched in november to scottish, we applied again and have an acknowledgement number but still nothing. Tried ringing but keep being moved around , nobody can tell me, should of stayed at southern

When I called SP this week they told me that I have been approved and that it should go on the meter between now and the first week in April. I am to notify them if it is not on by then.

The number to call is 0800 027 0139 - Monday-Friday.

Mine was applied to my meter today from Scottish Power. Just in time for the warmer weather

I got a letter today from N power saying that I need to take the letter and 2 forms of ID to the Post Office and I will be given £135 cash, has anyone else had this?

never heard of this I have a pre payment metter and got sent letter with vouchers to top up power key
