Just received a reply from Southern Electric in which I asked when the scheme would be open.

"Thank you for your recent email. Please accept my apology for the delay in replying to your query.

I have rung our priorities services team and they have informed me that the warm home discount scheme has now been announced and the forms are starting to be sent out to our customers, I can confirm that the top amount of £130 has been increased this year to £135. "

.... I wonder if we will see this form before the window closes!
    :DPle'ma an bysva?:D
  • I can finally see my £130 credit. :j

Just had to chase this up as BG decided to send it to me it as a refund (BG refund any credit over £100 left on your account at the end of the year) and it went AWOL. It is now safely in my bank account.

David the Scottish Power rep on here, has beggared off since I asked for an approx date when we can apply for next years credit
    :wall: :rotfl:

All we can do is keep checking their website.

Oh and for anyone that doesn't know, the scheme is only a 4-year initiative from April 2011 to March 2014.
After spring 2014, it's debatable whether there will be any financial help again. The saying 'like trying to get blood out of a stone' comes to mind over any of the energy companies unwillingly coughing up so far, so I don't hold out much hope for the scheme continuing.....

Just seen on Scottish Power's website that the application process for the Broader group is opening in June 2013 for the 2013/14 credit. See here

I did email them at the beginning of the week about it, but still no reply ....:wall:

Many thanks! (You've busted their big secret, as lets face it, they don't want any of us to get the financial credit) :p :T
