Do as Manxred says, but did you give them your address? They are not BPA AOS so would be interesting to know what they said to DVLA to get it if you didn't.

Why did you email them? Don't get it at all, why respond to a fake PCN from a crappy little firm of scammers?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That is why ignoring them is best policy, unless you know exactly what to say.

Especially with this company because they would not have been able to obtain your details from DVLA (honestly)

However their claim is almost certainly doomed, and I would wager if a defence is offered that will be the end off!

    Unpaid parking charge notice:
    Registration number:

on the (date + time) a parking charge notice was issued to the vehicle above for parking on private land without displaying a valid parking permit. Photographic evidence was taken and details of the vehicle recorded on our database. Mr appealed the decision but his appeal was declined. We have wrote to Mr in regards to the outstanding debt via royal mail recorded delivery but he has chose to ignore us.

(letter was sent to my work address not address where van is registered and i did not have to sign for it!
