  • I got loads of stuff from Aldi yesterday, I have been having so much fun planning what to buy and plant, it is so easy to get carried away and then it is hardly money saving :rotfl:

I'm off to get some shortly. It's a great price. Grab some yourself and protect your precious wooden furniture before it's sold out!

For once B&Q aren`t charging too much for something. There teak oil was about
£2.50, which makes a pleasant change from the normal overpricing at B&Q.

If your wood has gone a little grey, teak oil alone won't bring the rich colour back, add a couple of drops of red food colouring to the oil before you apply it. It will give grey wood a boost, just not too much colour though.

I find B&Q quite reasonable on some bits - have you have a look in Homebase!!!

Prices are 50% ontop of B&Qs!! Couldn;t believe it!

Got some Teak Oil for my garden swing in Lidl this morning. Lots of it on the shelf in Fareham at the moment if you live down this way!!

Thanks OP for a good deal.

    Hi All,

From Monday 3rd September Lidl are selling a range of garden tools and accessories. Some seem very cheap but some look reasonable quality.

The secateurs look just like Felco 2's and are quite well made (for 99p). Not great for anything other than light pruning but easy to keep sharp. There will be hoards of them for sale on Ebay as Felco-a-like next week for around £5.

    Hope you find it useful!

I have had their secateurs as well. Had them for ages and they are just as sharp. They have teflon blades.

The long handled tree loppers are excellent as well.

  • Just flicked through the leaflet and from the 25th my local Lidl has got fruit bushs, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, etc, from 99p and fruit trees from £3.99 including apples and plums.

They've just had some other trees in before Christmas and they looked like really healthly plants
