E:14/09/04 SE T610 on BT150+ for £1.24/month

It almost certainly will, unless BT have suddenly started locking their phones without telling anyone. Now, if another SIM does not work...
It is yours to keep, although you're right in thinking that you are committed to the contract for a year. If you wanted to end it before then, you'd probably be asked to pay up for a year's rental. You wouldn't have to return the phone. Also, I don't think the phone is my to "keep from the moment it is delivered" - I understand that I have to fulfill the 12 months contract?! - I probably cannot just cancel after 1 month and keep the phone??
It could be that if you were to cancel the contract early, the shop that sold it would lose their commission, which is what they use to give you the cash back.
It's not an accident that they don't give you the money for several months.0 -
Just rang Carphone Warehouse and their offer is over due to stock running out

Does anyone know more about "You at Work" site? Is it only for Dialaphone or does it offer other perks. Anyone got a link?
Likewise any other sites for good perks?0 -

As far as I know you can't join the site as an individual. You have to be an employee of an organisation that subscribes. I am and it's nothing to get excited about.0 -
CPW missed their promised delivery today, but told me that it came into CityLink's possession at 1100 and would arrive tomorrow, following restocking over the weekend.Just rang Carphone Warehouse and their offer is over due to stock running out :(
If you ever want to chase CPW on sales/CS/delivery, use http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-store-ClickToCall . They ring you back. This will ideally be to a 0870/1 number forwarding to your home phone and you earn money while you sit in their call queue.0 -
I cannot find the terms and conditions of this contract. Is there a minimum usage that you have to use the phone for to get the refunds?
I'm only planning to use the free minutes and no more, but I'm worried that they won't give me the refund based on this...0 -

I wouldn't worry about that. Her Ladyship only uses it with, and upto, the inclusive minutes. BT's strategy to make a profit from this will fail as long as you keep within the 150 mins/month.
Postscript..
Don't forget to send off your invoice at the correct time to claim the cashback

Patently these T610 deals are tremendous value, in whatever guise/cashback/supplier.
BUT do be aware of drawback...there are problems with BT mobile
1. you won't get through to customer services...you can spend hours..to be fiar, they admit there is an issue
2. you can't check your mins used automatically...only through customer services!
3. billing system is overloaded so bill come very late...good!, except it may make getting yoir cashback harder...shouldn't under terms & conditions but i suspect it will...and will delay
4. for those of you who do these techie things, no GPRS...though oddly phone shows it available
5. the is an inconsistency in their published terms on inclusive mins and what they advise by e-mail with regard to voicemail...you may end up paying for it
The Chief Executive of BT Mobile is called Steven Evans..he gives me the impression of a manager not keen to have name know by customers...always a worrying sign
so when you have wasted lots of your time trying to get customer services why not e-mail him...if he gets enough maybe he will start managing the business

Looks like they now have stock because the CPW T610 offer is back on - due to finish 30th September though.Just rang Carphone Warehouse and their offer is over due to stock running out :(0 -
The offer is back on, but the stocks aren`t - I ordered late last night and had an email this morning:
"Unfortunately the item you ordered is temporarily out of stock.............
We are expecting new stock to arrive into our warehouse in the next few days"
Ah well, just wait and see I suppose.0
