Dear Interhacker, I am not surprised that you are not happy stacking the shelves at ASDA (how depressing). Anyway, I am not 24 years old (thank goodness), but even when I was, I was also turned down for jobs I was qualified for and would have liked - so, please, it is not personal. I am now self-employed (have you thought about this as an option?) - this is my third time of trying and now have been self-employed for over five years - the recession is not helping, but I am making ends meet. Good luck!!!!
Well what makes it worse is that i work nights and the weekends, at my age i should be out ruining my liver!0 -

I'd be happy stacking shelves, the pay is bloody good in a lot of supermarkets a friend of mine is on £8 an hour between 10pm-1am and then it goes up again between 1am-6am and it keeps him fit.
Ok so working evenings isn't ideal for a lot of people but I'm not one to go out drinking anyway. I did a job years ago where part of the job was stocking shelves, I used to enjoy making it look tidy.0 -
