oh bognor I missed this today and I have been to 2 different tescos. Will have to make a journey tomorrow just to see if there is anything left

How on earth did you miss it, it was bedlam in Newport.:rotfl:

Nothing much in Hatfield, just some very cheap looking combs & bath sponges. There were lots of empty shelves. I had a look at the labels on the shelves & there wasn't anything that looked interesting eg potato peeler, hand mirror. It all looked like tat they were selling off. No diy stuff labelled at all.

Both the DVD -R and +R were 10p at Tesco, PItsea, Essex. There were lots left at 12pm. Also got lots of DIY stuff, child's friction cars, kitchen untensils, baby food pots and forks/spoons, catcher bibs, exfoliators, hair bobbles, ash trays, artifical flowers, graters, games, beads etc.

No tennis balls or Padded Envelopes in Leeds today! ( The two things I wanted!) Plenty of everything else though!

Got quite a few of the above bit today and am very happy with my stash. Thanks for the original posting. I am giving some away. But no-one seems to want my emergency foil blankets. I'm sure they will regret it one day!! I thought they were a great find.

Was no CD-R packs left in my local

Plenty of the DIY stuff though with staff putting out boxes full of packs of knives, etc.
