  • Thanks for this thread! Managed to get a trolley load of stuff this morning as it wasn't advertised as being 10p! Bought lots of bits and pieces for kids party bags. Now where do I keep it all until July??

    I've got the same problem! My boys parties are May and July. My bags are still in the car until I decide where to put them!!

  • I left with tonne loads as well. It was hilarious watching 2 old ladies hassling the manager to reduce the socks and pants to 10p.

    To quote a member of staff at our local Tesco's today -

    That's quoting staff - not me!

    But we did manage to get wire brushes, screwdrivers, pliers,hammers, drill bits, rawl plugs - so obviously they don't know what to do with them!

    Parasites:mad: :mad:

    Who told them about it!!!:confused::confused:

    Has any1 been to Bexhill or Eastbourne stores? do they have much left?
    I'm after colouring books & pencil cases

    Went to Eastbourne this morning. No colouring books or pencil cases, sorry.
    They had travel game sets, girls bead making sets, travel toiletry container sets, hair brushes, girls hair sets, light bulbs, tape measures, peg baskets, ash trays not much else.
    Don't know about Bexhill though.

    Just quoting staff. Don't see the point of it myself. But it is annoying when you want a couple of things yourself and find people taking trolleys full.

    Inside information. Some of them work there at night restocking shelves.
