Hadnt been able to get to Tescos all weekend so I didnt hold out much hope today....went to Weston Super Mare this morning....couldnt see anything and then in the homewares aisle I saw CDR's....marked at 50p a pack of 5...I wanted some anyway so took 8 packs and thought I might be lucky and get them for 10p....anyway at the till 1p.....yipeee....so I went back and picked up 45 more packs....still loads left....went and asked a till supervisor about bulk buy policy and she said 10 items...I explained they were for me as I pay for and download audio books for when i drive to work....and they were not to resell....and she said OK....and took me to a till and told the SA I could buy them all....yipee again....thanks so much for letting us all know about these deals....my local Tescos is so small we dont have £1 specials....so I wouldn't have known about it otherwise....THANK YOU.....

don't suppose anyone knows if any north london stores have these 1p deals on? I may go have a hunt around tomorrow eve, not a fan of supermarkets though so just wondered in advance if i could make a beeeeeeeline to the correct area :D

Come on guys, are you not satisfied by saving money for things you need by looking here? If you're really that hard up you wouldn't have regular access to the internet, or a computer with which to do so. There's no need to buy up bargains to sell on. And if you do you should be declaring earnings to tax man etc etc, which I'm sure most, if not nearly all, people do not.

I'm not all that well off and I think it's disgusting that people see cheap things and see it as a way to make money for themselves. It's very selfish to deprive the next person of cheap things, that another buyer might actually use and want, simply for your own gain. If you want to get some extra money look here is what I say http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk/JCP/Customers/index.html If you can do the shopping for a car boot and do a car boot there's no reason you can't work a consistent extra 10 hours or so a week. That's an easy extra £55 a week without relying on stores having things cheap for you to sell them.

2 days paying out for childcare is about £55-60 however

Went into the Llandudno Junction branch first thing yesterday morning - the shelves had been cleared (and an advice sheet left behind by one of the staff saying that all items should have been cleared by monday am and that if possible 1p goods should be donated to local schools)
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!
  • Got some plastic spoons/forks today but they were still going through till @ 10p. Nothing much else.

    Dvd/cd cases (8 pack) still £1

just wanted to say thanks to the OP, I managed to get to my store on the Friday (been offline for a few days hence delay in posting), I was well chuffed got loads of items, spent about £6.00 and got £60.00 worth of stuff.

I had loads of items for party bags, girls bead sets, electronic games, hair bobbles, my daughters birthday party is this weekend so the deals came just in time, very grateful to the OP this thread has saved me a fortune and for a change the party bags will be more exciting than just sweets!

Also got toy cars and puppets, microwave dishes.:T
