It's their GREED I am judging, not what they are spending money on.

I just picked up a packs of CD's, and when they scanned for 1p I went back and picked up a few more:T
  • Found a set of forks amougst a few bits put in the pharmacy aisle at Thetford and they scanned at 1p.
Spurred on by this I also visited Newmarket(found nothing),Cambridge,Newmarket Road(Ditto) and the massive one at Bar Hill, off the A14.
They had DVD,Cd cases but marked at a pound,DIY stuff still marked at 50p so left it.
Not disheartened next stop was Huntingdon, where I hit paydirt.
FM Scan radio, peelers, graters, ice cream scoops, other cutlery bits all at 1p!They were in a bin marked £1 or less. Also picked up 3 travel adapters which scanned at 10p and a set of 2 mouse mats which were 25p.An employee then turned up to take the contents away, but not before I had a good look.Final stop was Ely,which produced nothing. They had a few kids clothes and games.

Nothing left in Hampton Peterborough. Nipped in today to see if I could grab some more of the aeroplanes for the childrens parties, had thought they seemed really naff so only picked up 1 packet, was surprised by the quality, soft plastic rather than hard nasty stuff on the 3 smaller planes in the packets.
Ahh well we live & learn.

I was lucky enough to be in tesco at 8.15 am this morning and they had a load of stuff reduced to 1p. Pencil tin sets, exercise books, paint pots, mesh bags, colanders and crepe paper all for 1p. I bought a load of various things and took them to the hospice where I work which will use them for fundraising in the summer. 66p of donated goods will raise them a few pounds so am delighted. Also got a huge pile of crepe paper for school for 30p. A real bargain and school will be delighted tomorrow. I even spent about 10p on things for myself for presents!!! A good morning's purchases.

I tried to buy some CDRs but was told I can only get a maximum of 6, are they allowed to do that without any notice anywhere in the store?

It's to stop people selling them on. Good on Tesco's I say. AFAIK they can legally refuse to provide any goods as it's at their discretion. I dare say if you kicked up a fuss and got a store manager involved you might be able to buy more.
