Just got back from Tesco Hasting, still loads of DVD-R's available at 10p not much more, only teaspoons , icecream scoops, adaptors and a few odds and ends including feather dusters. They had loads of Tool sets and drills, sanders, ladders etc. all at half price .

Could you just clarify for me if that was Hollington or Ravenside please? Was thinking of taking a wander over to one or other this evening to see what's afoot and might go have a look in the one you didn't look in to see if anything more exciting.

To quote a member of staff at our local Tesco's today -
" The Eastern Europeans have been in late last night and very early this morning and more or less cleared all the 10p stock. They are repacking them and selling on the local market."

That's quoting staff - not me!

But we did manage to get wire brushes, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drill bits, rawl plugs - so obviously they don't know what to do with them!
    I wish you......
    A sunbeam to warm you,
    A moonbeam to charm you,
A sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you.

Just got 10 packs of 8 x jiffy bags, DVD size for 10p per pack.

These will be great for packing ebay & Amazon sales.

I filled a large trolley to overflowing today with 10p items including lots of things for making up charity shoe boxes for the little ones. Total cost £14.80. I'm over the moon. Thanks very much to the OP for the tip. :T

Why repackage? I was going to boot fair some of this and just put it out as it is. Am I missing something?

  • Thanks for this thread! Managed to get a trolley load of stuff this morning as it wasn't advertised as being 10p! Bought lots of bits and pieces for kids party bags. Now where do I keep it all until July??
  • Went to my local Extra store today and got a trolley full. As previously mentioned not all the boxes/shelves are marked at 10p. Most of ours are still labelled at a pound so there was tons left!! I got packs of scented tealight candles, glass candle plates, packs of votive candles (4 varieties), cutlery, silk flowers, girls plastic cup & straw, baby food container set, childrens animal shaped bath sponges, toiletry bags with mirrors, brush & comb sets, nail manicure set, loofah/body scrub set, makeup brush set, pack of 3 tennis balls (actually were 5p!), double pack of wooden children puzzles, and tons of other toys. I spent about 13 pounds. I shared my goodies with my mum. I've put the toys away for party bags and prizes for my children's parties this year!

This was at the Batley store
