Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 6 (U.K. Networks Only)

OK-complete unlocking noob here. I have a Nokia 2600, and when I take the SIM out, it tells me so when I start it up. When I type something in, is it supposed to recognize the command itself? It doesn't allow me to enter letters. (i.e. p, w, etc). Help?

BTW-I'm in the U.S...does this cut my ability to unlock?

To get the + sign you press the * key twice
To get the p sign you press the * key 3 times
To get the w sign you press the * key 4 times
When you enter the final digit of the code it should say phone restriction off and the phone will be unlocked to all networks.



Only try the code you have once, if it doesnt work then give me a shout, with your imei number and I will give you the correct code.

Thanks! finally managed to do this by putting spare battery in phone.
