1112's cant be unlocked by fre codes, they can now be unlocked by unlocking box which your local pro unlocker should have, charge should be about £5 for this.
If you are trying to use the phone on T-Mobile check a T-Mobile sim in the phone first as these usually work on virgin phones.

It will be £40 for the N70 and not sure of the price for the Motorola v975.

Thanks Jay - this is going to sound silly - its my DH phone who is giving it to DS to use. Without the sim card, trying to enter the above code it all comes out as numbers, no letters. Any idea why

Yep no problems sweet, its an easy thing to do follow these instructons

To get the + sign you press the * key twice
To get the p sign you press the * key 3 times
To get the w sign you press the * key 4 times
When you enter the final digit of the code it should say phone restriction off and the phone will be unlocked to all networks.
